Many people all over the world are afflicted with multiple sclerosis, a chronic neurological disease for which there is no cure.  Because of this, the Race to Erase MS was founded in 1993 by Nancy Davis, who was diagnosed with the disease.  Today, the Race to Erase MS event is held annually, raising money to for the Nancy Davis Foundation For Multiple Sclerosis.  This event is typically a gala for celebrities, with very exclusive invitations.  Since its start, it has raised over thirty million dollars for research into the neurological disease.  All proceeds go to the foundation’s Center Without Walls program, which includes seven of the top multiple sclerosis research centers.  The ultimate goal of the Nancy Davis Foundation For Multiple Sclerosis is to one day find a cure for this debilitating disease.
